There are so many great wisdom books. Not all of them scripture. Some are novels, histories, or biographies; some are tragic, some comic.

To me, Shakespeare’s plays are wisdom books, as are the great epics of India and Greece. The novels of Dostoevsky, Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, Melville’s Moby Dick, the poems of Rumi or Rilke There are so many. My favourite book on philosophy is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

It is a great portray of wisdom and following dreams. The characters are great and adds value to life. It is full of lessons of life evertime you change your view.
